Pretty Flowers to Brake up the Monotany
Flowers, to some, are a waste of time. But if you ever watch the face of those that receive flowers, man or woman or child, the smiles are great. I HOPE TO GET SOME SMILES HERE!
Flowers have a spirit all their own. When the blossoms are open, they smile; then they are close, they are thinking (about what I do not know). But in groups they sing to all of us to share their beauty and grace with us. I hope these flowers have brightened your day or night. They have mine.
THIS IS ANGEL AND FLOWER POWER!
Yes welcome to my home pages. I hope you enjoy them. Some of these graphics are scattered. Some are not. I have collected these for the last 10 years to put together my web pages.

I will be glad to find other things to put on my pages. With the 11mgs offered by Tripod, there is almost no limit to the amount of stuff that can be covered here.
HEY!!!!!!! How did that teddybear get in here? :)
In my book, named REMEMBRANCES OF HOSPICE, I have collected experiences I have had with ideas on how to help hospice, dying patients, when they are home. In this book, I have attemped to provide a guide to families on how to cope with the experiences they are going through. None of the names are the patient's names, and none of the experiences are in entirety. But the signs and symptoms of what the dying person sees as he or she transitions to the next life or heaven, or where ever it may be, are ones we all must go through. If you have any needs or questions or problems, this book may cover most of it.
If you wish a copy of this guide that I have compiled, please write to: MARI NOERR, P.O. BOX 83237, PHOENIX, ARIZONA 85071. I will be happy to send you one for the cost of the printing and mailing for $20.00 in the USA and $25.00 Canada or oversees. Must be in Money order or Cashier's check, only.

INSPIRATION OF FLOWERS
THIS PAGE HAS BEEN VISITEDtimes.
Also in my book, REMEMBRANCES OF HOSPICE, I go into remedies of how to improve the breathing of a dying patient and how to decrease the discomfort of those in pain. Take some time to read it. It took 2 years to put together, and 1 year to get copywritten, and 1 year to publish myself. As there are many books, but now like this one, I published it myself. I was not able to upfront a publisher hundreds of dollars first and still keep the costs of the book down.
Geocities is where my other web pages are. I will list them in the list of links below.
There are many ways to relieve shortness of breath in the dying patient. If the head of the bead is elevated about 45 degrees or higher, it helps to give expansion to the lungs. Pillows, about 5, can be propped behind the head and upper back of the patient, or, couch pillows can be placed under the mattress of the bed the patient is lying on, to raise the head of the bed. The later always helps, as the patient will not fall threw the pillows if the mattress itself is elevated. The doctor should be called in all cases of shortness of breath, unless there is a nurse case manager that is on call to help. Another thing that helps is relaxtion tapes of rain, ocean sounds, or music the patient likes to listen to. Telling the patient in a low voice to take slow deep breaths in through the nose and out the mouth help, also. My book goes on to explain other problems the patient has or could have and how to intervene to help. Not all these interventions will be needed, or maybe all of them will. It depends on the patient. As we are all individuals, we all have different needs. Try to keep the anziety level of the patient down. This is where the family may have to put on an act.......be stoic....and act like they are doing fine.......and talk them through it. Many doctors have medications to relax the muscles and nerves. If this has been of any help, then I have helped myself. If there are any questions, please e-mail me. See the links below.
I hope this has been fun and informative for you.
